It's wood not waste

LACKER NATURE also makes use of local oak affected by the oak splendour beetle. The fine bore marks left behind do not affect the woods strength or quality. Once felled and dried, the beetle cannot survive – allowing the valuable material to be repurposed sustainably as strong and useful plant stakes.
